Basic Types Of Logo Design

After i post about 45 Rules of Making Logo Design, once again, I will talk about logo design. We knows that logo is a symbolic glyph or insightful, brand recognition as the origin, identity or ownership. The main function is to obtain recognition. The purpose of a logo is to act as a mnemonic device and the identifier, to communicate a thought or feeling you want, and generate an emotional response desired. Your logo is at the heart of its corporate identity, the definition and that symbolizes the character of your company or organization. Logo design is one of the most important things in a web design company.

There are 3 (three) basic types of logos:

1. Iconic/Symbolic
Icons and symbols are simple but compelling images are emblematic of a particular product or company. Theys use images verbatim gold abstract representation conveys your organization. Symbols are less direct than the text directly, leaving ample room for interpretation of what the organization represents. For a symbol to be a really effective logo should be according to these maximum thesis: instantaneously recognizable, memorable, clarity when reproduced in small sizes, and can be illustrative in nature, either concrete or abstract.

2. Logotype/Wordmark
A logotype, commonly known in the design industry as a "word mark", the incorporation of your company or brand in a unique font style of treatment. Type fonts come in thousands of variations, shapes, sizes and styles, each gives a slightly different impression to your target audience. Sources of writing implies a sense of formality and refinement. Font thick proclaim the strength and power, while the sources of error likely to give a sensation of movement or movement. Source Type Treatments may also include hand-drawn letters, characters or symbols that have been made in such a way that intrigues the eye and capture the interest. Images can be incorporated into a logo, often at great visual effect. For the first consideration when choosing a logo or word mark is readability and ease of recognition, even when reduced to the size required for printing business cards.

3.Combination Marks
Combination Marks are graphics with both symbol/icon and text that means the image you want to project your company or organization. Concise text can add an icon or a symbol of clarity about what your business is all about.
Some brands combined integrated and autonomous. For example, the Starbucks logo has the text with integrated graphics, while AT & T logo has a separate icon text.
